3th day since Serenity Peak.
The next night after that crazy shared dream, we were pretty late in getting to the wagon train’s campsite, and had to find an area on the outskirts, way out of choice land (Gareth seems to be a good guy, but isn’t exactly the fastest in the wagon train.). Turns out, we were near some ancient ruins, and happened to get ourselves into trouble with some walking horrors. In keeping ourselves alive, Briar and I sort of set their re-dead bodies on fire. We got out of the area fast enough that we didn’t get to see the fire do it’s magic, sadly.
When we got to Bomria, I found a forge willing to let me work, and so I crafted myself a fancy magic self-lighting lantern.
The actual crafting didn’t take long, I already had the glass vial I was going to use, and I was able to sculpt the metal around and finish the material aspects of it with ease. The rest of the day happened to be spent focusing the enchantment I needed to permanently apply the spark spell to the device in order to have it be able to automatically light when I open it.
After I finished the device, I went searching for my friends. In my inquiries with the townspeople, they all pointed me towards a place they call “The Coffin” when I mentioned we have non-humans with us. Fun idea: I don’t think they realized I wasn’t human.
In finding my friends, apparently we had picked up a funny little halfling by the name of Tankard, and accepted a job from the mayor (Seems to be a nice guy, regardless of some of his townspeople.) to investigate the ruins that we encountered zombies at on our way down to town. Also, we lost that obnoxious Sorcerer that had been plaguing us for the trip to Bomria and somehow replaced him with an odd sort of bounty hunter who seems to be, despite his profession, a somewhat nice guy.
